The founding meeting was held on 28 July 2018 at the embassy of Ethiopia. The meeting was attended by Ethiopian professionals living in Southern Africa. The program coordinators made a short opening statement outlining the association mission by saying that EthPASA is a community of diversity professionals who strive for advancement, excellence, and achievement. After the briefing the coordinators and colleagues attending the foundation meeting introduced themselves and briefly talked about their opinion related to the importance of establishing EthPASA. In their contributions, the participants expressed support for the association initiative and enthusiasm for its aims to create a platform for exchanging information, inspire, educate and empower the Ethiopian professional community to make a positive impact in the world and envision a strong community that shares ideas, skills, and resources to enrich lives.
